For businesses where managers need clearer expectations and the skills to put them into practice. I work with newer and experienced managers, tailoring development to the situations they face.
For newer and experienced managers who have had little formal development. Built around your business, with time to learn, discuss and practice.
£6,500 core programme - no VAT
Up to 12 managers
2 full days of development
1-2 weeks to practice between days
A half-day scoping session with you to agree priorities, leadership expectations and what success should look like. A short manager questionnaire adds their perspective.
Two tailored development days using situations your managers recognise. I use eight learning blocks to focus time where it is most useful.
Managers leave day one with a specific task to try. Day two creates space to review what happened, practise further and agree next steps.
Four to six weeks after day two, I meet with you to review feedback, explore how managers are applying the learning and agree how to build on their progress.
From our first conversation through to delivery and review, I get to know your organisation and the situations your managers face. Those situations shape the learning, with time to discuss, practice and try things at work between sessions. We then review how they’re putting it into practice.
Topics can include leadership expectations, feedback, delegation, accountability, performance conversations, coaching skills and leading change. I agree the emphasis with you during scoping; complex priorities may take more than one learning block.
Includes scoping, agreed tailoring, materials, two delivery days and the buyer review. No VAT is currently charged. Travel and venue costs are agreed separately. Substantial additional design or coaching is quoted before work begins.
The priorities you choose shape the skills managers practise and the changes to look for afterwards. I agree those outcomes with you during scoping.
Managers understand their people responsibilities and can explain what they expect from their teams.
Managers learn and practise tools for the situations you want them to handle more effectively. That might mean delegating clearly, coaching a colleague or helping a team through change, depending on the agreed topics.
A shared approach gives managers something to return to, with their sponsor’s support, after the training.

A half-day or full-day masterclass can focus on a particular skill, such as feedback, delegation, accountability, coaching conversations or leading change.

No. You need a sense of what isn’t working and a willingness to explore it. I use scoping to agree the priorities with you. If the issue needs wider organisational work, I discuss that with you before committing to training.
Yes, where they share relevant development needs. A short questionnaire helps me understand the mix. If the needs are too different, I’ll recommend separate groups or a different approach.

The programme is tailored to each organisation. During scoping, I work with you to choose the topics that address your priorities. These can include leadership expectations, feedback, delegation, accountability, performance conversations, coaching skills and leading change. I agree a focused selection for the two days, with time for discussion, practice and applying the learning to your managers’ own situations.
An involved sponsor, time for managers to attend and practise, and a willingness to reinforce the agreed expectations. If you provide the venue, I’ll agree a suitable room and facilities with you.Add an answer to this item.
